Kids in the earliest stages of curiosity find joy in drawing and doodling. Glodoodle would be the perfect gift to indulge such interest. They could draw whenever and wherever they please. The Glodoodle board measures only 12 x 2 x 3 inches and weighs 1.2 pounds. It is very easy to sketch in through the plastic sheet tightly pulled. The LED lights come in three different colors – red, yellow and green. And as it name implies, the drawings glow in the dark. There are also tracing cards available in the Glodoodle site they could practice with. Just print out the images and they could trace away. These are simple drawings of different animals – bear, bird, bunny, ladybug, butterfly, cat, dog, pig, dragon, elephant, pony, seahorse, tiger and turtle. Other samples include flowers, a house, a kid on a swing and two kinds of plane on flight.
If they are done drawing and still want to sketch some more, they could easily erase the doodles. They just have to press the magic erase button situated on top of the board. In case the images are not completely deleted, the erase button should be held and pushed down until every mark disappears. Be careful not to press too hard which could damage the LED lights. After they play with it, it could be turned off to save on the batteries. Three AA alkaline batteries are required to operate this toy. Note that these should only be installed by an adult because it requires loosening the screws of the battery compartment door.

For best results and to better appreciate the doodles, sunlight and bright overhead lights should be avoided. Also, the ideal environment during use would be with the temperature of 59 degrees Fahrenheit or above. It is also important that nothing is placed between the film and the plastic backing so the lights would function well.
